...Not just for little girls!

I have been making hair bows for almost a year now... and finally found a use for one for my 25 year old self.  I was recently trying to think of a way for my 8 year old cousin who is a little Asian tom boy with short hair to wear something in her hair.  I decided to make her a soccer clip.  I just took some soccer ribbon and hot glued it to a alligator clip.  Her little sister is playing soccer so I decided she just might wear one to her game!  Well, as we were all getting ready for the game Lydia (my cousin) decided against wearing the clip, so I threw it in my own hair.  The teams colors are red and black so I dressed in her colors and even sported a matching hair clip. I also made sam 6 different soccer bows for her pigtails that had to have the french barrette on them because "I might run to fast for the other cliplies  LuLu"

Little Letters

Once again I have been bit by the Pinterest bug and fell in love with creating girly little frames with initials in them.  They were SO inexpensive to make.  I purchased a $3 frame from Dollar General and then went to hobby lobby for sparkly paper and an initial or two which cost about a $1.50.  I had the tulle and jewels already so really this was just something fun for me to make for a couple girly girls to display in their bedroom.

The finished product!  I had so much fun making these and like I said it was so inexpensive!!

More Bows!

So now that I have gotten the "Gist" of making hair bows I have had a blast, spent far too much money on ribbons, and started coordinating bows for outfits!  Here are a few of the newest bows I have made!

These first 3 bows were made for little Miss Kenzie for her birthday!  I went with really bright colors!

Out of all the ribbons Hobby Lobby has, Samantha picked the red hounds tooth. Seriously. So I turned it into a cute baseball bow!

This one is also for Samantha, she loved her cowgirl stuff, now if only she will wear this instead of her pink cowgirl hat!

Another for Sam, she I thought needed this for Zoo trips!

Last one that's Sam's.  She came running into my room and said she needed a bow to match the outfit she was wearing, and this is what we ended up with! It lasted all day until she decided to do headstand in which case the bow came off of the clip.  I added more glue and lots of string so now this bow should handle any of her many movements.

I loved this color combination!

I just played around with the big red piece and this is what I came ip with!  A patriotic baseball bow!  Love it!

These were my favorites!  I made korker's and added some sparkle to em!

The next two go with a little girl's summer outfits! Her little dresses are ADORABLE!

I have so many KSU and KU buttons that I have kinda been on a kick lately!  I also have so many friends with little girl's that are major cheerleaders for both teams!  They make fun little gifts as well!
