Crafty-ness

With an addiction to hobby lobby and pinterest, there is no real need to explain why I love to create! I have two little cousins that I love to craft for and with they are always an inspiration. I love turning an everyday item into something chic and unique!

More Bows!

So now that I have gotten the "Gist" of making hair bows I have had a blast, spent far too much money on ribbons, and started coordinating bows for outfits!  Here are a few of the newest bows I have made!

These first 3 bows were made for little Miss Kenzie for her birthday!  I went with really bright colors!

Out of all the ribbons Hobby Lobby has, Samantha picked the red hounds tooth. Seriously. So I turned it into a cute baseball bow!

This one is also for Samantha, she loved her cowgirl stuff, now if only she will wear this instead of her pink cowgirl hat!

Another for Sam, she I thought needed this for Zoo trips!

Last one that's Sam's.  She came running into my room and said she needed a bow to match the outfit she was wearing, and this is what we ended up with! It lasted all day until she decided to do headstand in which case the bow came off of the clip.  I added more glue and lots of string so now this bow should handle any of her many movements.

I loved this color combination!

I just played around with the big red piece and this is what I came ip with!  A patriotic baseball bow!  Love it!

These were my favorites!  I made korker's and added some sparkle to em!

The next two go with a little girl's summer outfits! Her little dresses are ADORABLE!

I have so many KSU and KU buttons that I have kinda been on a kick lately!  I also have so many friends with little girl's that are major cheerleaders for both teams!  They make fun little gifts as well!

Hair Bow Time

So due to pinterest once again I am now suddenly addicted to hair bows!  I LOVE making them and am working on making them better!  I do not have any children or any nieces for that matter, I do have little cousins and tons of friends with little ladies in their lives, pretty sure they will reap the benefits my new obsession!
For Lydi, she hates hair bows but loves the color blue and police cars so I thought maybe she might wear it!

For Sami, the little cowgirl of the family!

Ready for the 4th of July

Always good to be patriotic

For the K-State Lovers

TuTu Fun

Tomorrow I am going to a baby shower and was asked to make a diaper cake for the shower.

The parents are KU fans therefore I decided to make a KU tutu for the little one.  It turned out so cute, and there are even sparkles in the red however you cannot see them in the pictures.  I put the bow together to where you can attach it to the tutu for a little something extra or you can wear it in a headband or as a hair bow.

I was told the baby's room colors are blue, green and purple, so I went with that for the cake.  I had such a good time making it, hidden in the cake are two baby bottles and then there are gerber daisy hair bows in the front.  The sparkly initials are that of the baby.

Pinterest

Pinterest, probably the greatest internet site ever created, it even has some competition with facebook!  After this web site my hobby lobby list increased a great bit!  I have always loved painting, modge-podging, stickers, craft paper and all of that good stuff!  I love taking a pinterest idea and re-creating it to something of my own. However all credit is still due to this amazing website.  Here are a couple of my pinterest re-do's!

My Christmas Wreath, I saw something similar on pinterest and decided to create my very own.  I have now become obsessed with wreaths!  Expect to see more in the future!

Being from Kansas of course when it comes to football my family are Kansas City Chief fans along with KSU fans.  I made this for my dad and our front porch for the month of January.  I also made an adorable KSU one for my favorite doctor's office door but forgot to get a picture of it!

I saw this saying on pinterest and one of the most important people in my life was recently diagnosed with breast cancer therefore I had to make this for her.  She is my definition of a fighter!

I saw this on pinterest and have etched many mirrors in the past and thought this would make an awesome wedding gift.  My sister has already requested one as soon as possible!  My boyfriend is quite the cook therefore I made one for him as well!

I got this idea also from pinterest and as I have stated before my two cousins love to create with me.  We made this for their mom and dad for valentine's day.  You could say it was quite a hit!

We also created these bookmarks that were also a Pinterest idea, with Lydia starting to read her own books I knew she would love them!
